February is American Heart Month and serves as a great reminder about the connection between heart health and brain health.  Recent research funded by the National Institute on Aging found individuals having one or more heart attacks across their lifetime may face faster cognitive decline in the years after the attack.  The study’s findings point to heart attacks as an important risk factor even after recovery. https://www.nia.nih.gov/news/heart-attacks-may-be-linked-accelerated-cognitive-decline-over-time

Celebrate American Heart Month by prioritizing your cardiovascular health! This month-long observance aims to raise awareness about heart disease prevention and inspire individuals to adopt heart-healthy habits. Join us in taking steps towards a healthier heart through regular exercise, a balanced diet, and routine check-ups.
