The Science of Aging Well: A Research Program Coordinator’s Perspective
Claire A. is a Senior Research Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University working with the Healthy Minds for Life study team.
Healthy aging is important to me because I want to be able to engage in the activities I enjoy, with the people I love, for as long as I can. I think that many people share similar feelings about aging, and many of us are looking for the best ways to achieve these goals. Beyond the physical aspects of aging, cognitive and mental health play an important role throughout our lives at all ages. While researchers continue to learn more about cognitive aging, there are still many questions yet to be answered. PAN takes a unique, multifaceted approach towards finding new solutions, and I am grateful to be a part of the project’s mission to maintain brain health across the adult lifespan and prevent cognitive decline.
I enjoy yoga, live music, and baking. My German Shepherd, Bandit, loves cheese sticks and going on long walks throughout Washington, D.C.
