Discover the Secrets of Brain Aging: Join Dr. Huentelman’s MindCrowd Study
Dr. Matt Huentelman is the founding scientist of MindCrowd (https://mindcrowd.org/). He is also a Professor at the non-profit academic research institute, TGen, in Phoenix, Arizona. He studies the interaction between our DNA, the chemical “blueprint” that is found in all of the cells in our body, and the brain, and explores questions like: “What makes my brain different from others?”, “What can we do to slow down the aging of our brain and improve our memory performance?”, and “Can we learn to prevent age-related brain diseases like Alzheimer’s by better understanding the healthy brain?”. Huentelman has published over 275 scientific articles on these topics. As a member of PAN, he is helping to define the various ways that your brain could be aging with the hope of developing approaches that could more specifically help you avoid age related cognitive decline – we know that everyone is different and therefore each of us may need specific solutions. He loves good road trips in the desert and you can often find him in the gym doing strength training or out on the road riding his bike in the Arizona sun. He also enjoys making all kinds of desserts from scratch (especially ice cream)…he enjoys eating them as well.
