May is Mental Health Awareness Month

June 4, 2024 Posted by Angelica Jaszewski Awareness Months

During Mental Health Awareness Month this May,  take time to think how we can help dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health challenges faced by millions of Americans. Since 1949, this Mental Health Awareness Month has been at the forefront of bringing much-needed attention to mental health. The National Alliance on Mental Illness  is spearheading the “Take the Moment” campaign to foster open dialogues, empathy, and understanding. As part of the Precision Aging Network (PAN) community, we encourage you to get involved by sharing resources, participating in events, or extending support within your networks. Together, let’s help promote emotional well being and support one another to take steps toward better mental health.
